What is a Virtual Pet?
Virtual Pets are fake or make-believe pets. They origianated as hand held toys that you could nurture, take care of, and watch grow up. You may of have heard of a Tamagotchi. A Tamagotchi ("tom-ah-got-chee") is a "virtual pet" that lives on a tiny LCD screen on a keychain. "Tamago" is Japanese for "egg," and "Tomodatchi" means "friend". So the word literally means "egg-friend."

What is a Global Pet?
We at Mezaman LLC have taken the basic virtual pet idea, grown on it and developed a new type of virtual pet simulation for the computer. Our pet is similar to handheld pets, but uses the power of the computer to have spectaular features such as 3d graphics!

Global Pets 2002 is the latest release from Mezaman, LLC of Global Pets products. Global Pets is an advanced virtual pet program for made for Windows 95, 98, or NT. This latest version allows a new level of virtual pet owner interaction on the computer and offers a community online.

In Global Pets your goal is to take care of your virtual pet, feed it, play with it, and watch it grow. You must keep it alive, and put it to bed, just as you would a real pet... It is very exciting to watch a pet grow up! You can even load other people pets from our shelter!!
